Dann Barber

In Dann Barber’s mysterious world architectual space is broken down and mutated, plans for a fictionalized metropolis aptly stained with coffee and wine, and sketched with a manic precision that amounts to impossible architectonic mayhem. These could be the spaces imagined by Borges or Italo Calvino’s Invisible Cities, spliced with the hint of the darkness of Gotham or Blade Runner. They could be the results of an archeological discovery from the next millennium, the aged remains of The Castle in Kafka’s dark fictions. Dann Barber received a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Majoring in Drawing) at RMIT University, 2011 and is completing a Bachelor of Dramatic Arts (Majoring in Design), at NIDA.
