Hari Ho

Monuments & Ruins is a visual contemplation on temporality and the futility of hubris through visual metaphors such as doorways and steps used in the way of Jungian archetypes for aspiration and transition. Hari Ho, born in Malaysia, has exhibited in Australia, Bangladesh and Malaysia and his solo exhibitions include Sherman Gallery, Sydney (2006), Salt Contemporary Art, Queenscliff (2005), Metro 5 Gallery, Melbourne (2005), Rupa Gallery, Kuala Lumpur (1988), Malaysia.  His work is held in a number 0f private collections include the National Portrait Gallery, Canberra, the Sherman Collection, Sydney and private collections in Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and the US
